How to learn Thai - interview

Q: What method do you recommend to learn Thai?

A: Thinking about this question I stumbled upon an interview I gave back in 2013. After having read it again I have to admit that I have a different view on some things I said back then. Nevertheless, I still believe that one has to learn the Thai writing system!
